This photo was taken on our boat ride out to tour the famous Alcatraz State Penitentiary "The Rock"' The federal prison on Alcatraz Island in the chilly waters of California’s San Francisco Bay housed some of America’s most difficult and dangerous felons during its years of operation from 1934 to 1963. Among those who served time at the maximum-security facility were the notorious gangster Al “Scarface” Capone (1899-1947) and murderer Robert “Birdman of Alcatraz” Stroud (1890-1963).

Here at True American Veteran (TrueAmericanVeteran) when the creative juices started flowing, I was looking for a case for my new Samsung 8+. I create designs for t-shirts, hats buttons, stickers & coffee cups. I decided to take an image I had from a recent trip to Glacier National Park and upload it and use it to make a unique one of a kind phone case.
